Can someone replicate the JL High Output box?

I am sordakinda considering getting a High Output box for my W7, but theres no way in hell i am spending 400 on it. Thats almost as much as I paid for the sub. So my question is, can anyone here design and build a box that replicates the JL HighOut put box? And how much? LMK ASAP THANKS

If you're looking for an exact replica, it will be fairly expensive no matter who does it..... look at the design

There's no need to build an exact replica, while it may technically be a series tuned 6th order bandpass alignment, the front chamber is so small and "tuned" so high it serves no usefull purpose. A slot ported vented enclosure of a similar volume (minus the "coupling chamber") tuned to the same Fb would yeild the same response (minus the massive spike at 150hz heh)

Essentially, removing the front baffle, (with the big oval in it) aside from the mechanical limitations, would yeild little difference.
