He is still getting power to the amplifier he stated it still turns on"green light"So fuses on the power wire should be good still . I've accidentally touched hot wire to ground couple times as long as it removed quickly shouldn't damage anything , my experience

you can still blow an inline fuse and the light will still be green. it's getting the signal from the remote wire...
