just picked up a boss 2700.5. My pioneer head unit only has 2 outputs rear and front and i am running my sub off of my rear output which leaves my front rca outputs open. my question is can i use the high level outputs from the amp to run my door and deck speakers and still use the low level from head unit to amp??

thanks,

robert

Get a better amp for starers. That amp is junk. To answer your question though, use the front out with a "y" splitter to run the other 4 channels.

thanks for the advice, im still gonna try out the 5 channel, at least until i can save up a few G's for what i really want. the sub i got now is a sony gtr 12" SVC with 400 RMS 2000 peak. The only time i listen to is turned up is when i am alone in the car which now isnt very often lol, which ***** *** most of the time. You said to just use a y-splitter correct? Should i split from the HU or at the amp?

Just out of curiosity what would you want if you had a few Gs to drop?

since i drive a 2010 sebring with not a whole lot of trunk space. i would like to put in 3 or 4 solo baric 12s L7 with an amp to run each. as far as amps not sure yet about those still doing some research on em.

I figured you are looking at stuff like that. Kicker subs are not good, they have so much hype from kids that only shop at best buy. In that truck you would be pushing to fit 2. Those 12s need 4 cubes per sub, normal 12s need 2-2.5. You could do so much more damage for the money you would spend on those.

good point... i have had to be very cheap in the past like running 4 walmart sony 12's with 2 sony 1000w amps in a explorer and it beat the crap outa of a buddy of mine runnin 3 L5 in his hatchback. never once have i had an issue with runnin sony products.

You may have had 800 watts combined from those amps. You seem to be looking at MAX power ratings. They are not real and just a number to trick people. Stick around here, ask questions and listen. You are about to be amazed
