ok i am installing my diamond audio d312 dual 4 ohm this weekend in a ported box with a cerwin vega xl600.1 amp. can someone help me out with setup of the amp so i can properly get it setup?

Wire your sub's voicecoils in parallel for a 2 ohm load to your amp. For amp settings, initially set your lowpass filter to 80hz, subsonic filter (if there is one) to 20-25hz, bass gain 0, source gain just match to your hu's rca rated volts. This gives you a good starting point, then you can tweak each setting to your liking. gl
