can someone find me an alternator?

I drive a 1999 mercury tracer, i am planning on running 2500 rms and need an alternator that will support that amount of power. Is there any way someone could pick one out for me because i don't know shit about them. Budget is $250

you can run that on stock alt probably jsut do big 3 and add extra batt and see what your volts are

merc tracer probably has a really small stock alt.

try dominic irragis ebay store and see what he has. he might have like a 180-220 amp in your price range?

i would rather not spend money on the alternator, but my alt. is 95 amps.

he can get a 200amp for $250, within his budget, i spent $475 but i went with a 280amp

Alot of batteries will stabilize voltage. You wont idle as high but you can be stable...

Id go with just like 3-4 batteries. I didnt see much of a difference from a 105amp alt to a 250amp alt. I am actually thinking of going back to my stock alt just because I didnt see much of a difference!

Your only running 2500 watts bro, You dont need a 250amp alt, just add a batt or two and you'll be fine.

No. Well I didnt have one. 2500w rms id say just put in like 2-3 g31 batteries and youll do fine
