Can someone explain what has failed within my amp?

As I said in a thread earlier this week, my amp (R500X1D) is going in and out protect. It'll be fine for a bit then a day or so after **** is checked out it'll play and tgen randomly go constantly back and forth between normal and protect mode. EVERYTHING has been checked including what you guys have suggested to me. Ground checked, fuse and holder checked, LOC with small wire cut was fixed, and sub has been tested for anything being blown and it checked out too. Oddly enough amp never starts up in protect. Seems my amp is done for, but why? I just want someone here to shed a little light on what has failed within the amp... Thanks!
