can someone explain this to me??? term lab

nope because i dont know any1 with a meter and the local shop is 25$ to run like 3 times.
my goal is just a decently loud daily driver off my nine.1 but still break 141....possible?
Legal?

Should be able too.

In my civic with 1 15XXX and PLanet AUdio 1200 i was doing right at that at 41hz.

my buddy had a solo x 12 in his wrx firing forward with an orion 2500d on it and he couldnt even bust a 40 through his ski hole in his back seat... what you are trying to do is tough. i'm a hatch guy, so //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif on trunks somewhat.
okay so ill turn the box around and i stand a good chance of breaking 140???

oh and during the metering i had the back seat folded down

Try it out.

Did you ever do a sweep or you pretty much know what hz does the loudest number?

OR is that on music....i forget?

Yeh....it should be able too.

Flip it.....meter......pour gas on box when it doesnt do it haha.
ive messed with tones a little bit but im only interested in what i can do off music. but today it peaked at 46hertz.

is firing into the trunk really that much better??? i wish one of you guys lived in my area so i could stalk you til it sounded right

Yeh when i had mine flipped around for 20sec in Civic it sounded very hollow and not deep at all.

now return the favor by fixing my noobish ness
also why do so many people run the port in the cabin like i did with subs still in the trunk if its such a crappy *** idea?
What kind of car? Some car's are just hard to get loud in...my Mustang for instance...i know a guy here on the forums that had a Omega 15" and a saz3000d and he couldn't get over 143! It was loud to the ear though...it's very vehicle specific......//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

yeah im going to flip it tomorrow. the only reason i ported to the cabin was to reduce any rattles //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif now it will be horrible lol

You sure 42htz? + your car should get loud easily enough.....the guy i spoke of had a 88' Civic
its pretty darn loud.....now that i cut the pipe, but when it was at 42hertz before cut it the thing was crap. it killed the song white girl but could barely get anything out of it when i played "put on" by jeezy. so my prior tunning killed the super low notes and now my current tunning does good on both...and i tunned higher...im confused???
