Can my car handle these two amps?

Someone start a thread poll and see how.many people have their big 3 done in 4 gauge
Ill be doing my Honda CRV in 4 ga later in the week.Ive even ran a Kinetic 600 in the rear already.Very suffecient for my needs.Though 0 ga isnt much more expensive than 4 ga taking into consideration. If planning to run more power of over 1200 watts, Id recommend 0 ga all day long, but as we all know, anything is much better that that cheasy 8/10 ga wiring.Im running 2-old school Autotek Mean Machines 66@2ohms on each Kicker CVR,@1.6cu ft @34htz ported, and will be installing a set of Cadence Mids/6.5, and a set of kicker KS25 tweeters in place of my Polk DB6.5 up front, and have Massive 6.5 mids in rear that will be powered by an Old school SStream 4ch 204,.So 4ga should be just fine for my big 3.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Very true indeed, if planning on any more than the 12oo watts, and keeping the vehicle id do 0ga, such as my truck,as well as deadening the entire cab as well.Car audio can get very expensive as well.I just buy and use what I need/have sitting,to help save funds for other interest.i do plan on keeping the CRV for quite some time, but feel like no other upgrades will be in the future, as the system being installed will be just fine for my daily work vehicle:yumyum:.But 0 ga really isnt much more expensive to purchase, though the 4ga for the OP will be just fine and shouldnt pose any issues with the system being installed as stated.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/santa.gif.e1ec9cf2e0a0dd232ad35aa594a126d0.gif

Out of the amps you mentioned Kenwood 805 hands down best bang for the buck. You won't be able to tell any difference from 5x7 to 6.5. You may...

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
