Car i have now:
2010 Ford Fusion SE
Audio system currently installed:
Factory sync gen 1 that won't detect a bluetooth phone (No phone)
Pulling the fuse doesn't fix it and neither does pulling the negative battery cable
Factory speakers (All 5x7's)
Car I sold:
2001 Z06 Corvette
Audio system that was installed:
Pioneer 6800BS
Alpine SPS-65C in front doors
Alpine SPS-65 in rear speakers
2x Audio Legion S-20 10" subs in a sealed box (So much hard hitting bass)
Powered by a Kenwood M8005
This setup sounded so clean/clear/bright and the bass hit so hard that I think I am going to duplicate it again in my new 2010 fusion se. My question is what kind of difference can I expect by now having 5x7's instead of 6.5 components if I put 5x7 alpine SPS's in my fusion.
I prefer sound quality over muddy bass. The only catch is the Kenwood M8005 seems to have been discontinued so they want me to use a JL audio amp, a Rockford Fosgate amp, or a Kenwood Excelon x802.5 for my new setup. I prefer to buy another M8005 to be honest. The way it worked was amazing with the Alpine SPS 6.5's. What do you guys think since I will be using 5x7 SPS's this time around.
