Can a Type-R handle a MRP-M1000?

Hey,

I had my Type-R on a kicker zx750.1 and I might chaning it to a mrp-m1000, can the type-R handle 1000 watts RMS daily? Or am I going to have to turn the gains down some?

I have heard they do fine on 1k watts...

the 15s do all day long, becareful on a 10 or a 12, but the 15 does take that amount of power all day long, i would just be smart with that kinda power on a type r 10-12 but they will take it none the less!!

my Rs were fine on 1000 daily. Don't overdo it though.. they are rated lower for a reason.

I put a little over 1k on mine (a 1 12 setup), and a little over 2k on 2 12's and never had any problems.
