i really dont understand why ppl like the OP are so cocky about the W7 when THEIR ARE BETTER SUB AND CHEAPER and doesnt consider any advice given to him after asking for it! and the funny thing is that he might think he can get loud with it, when its only meant for sq.

Bro, I can afford and have owned and own a few w7's.

Guess what....they are both back on the shelf in the closet.

The 3512 that Iam currently running not only sounds better(to me and some others) but takes way more power and

gets hella louder.

It will literally eat that 12w7 and shit out its parts...

As for the amp you listed, no its not enough. The w7 is a 3ohm woofer and that amp is only 500 @ 2 ohms so you do the math.

For the $$$ you will end up spending on that w7, you could get 2 8's that would kill the w7 and do it in less space. That and you will

have $$ left over.

Id say that if the 12w7 were, say, a $300 sub, IMO it would be a whole different ball game as far as an SQ sub, IMO.
