doubt regarding the sum of the slopes between amplifier and dsp

Good morning, I have a small doubt regarding the pendency.
As a source I use a DAC... using my phone with OTG cable and optical output.
Having done this I completely excluded the car radio, and with it all the controls, equalization, cut and finally I can work solely from the DSP.
What I didn't understand is whether by setting a slope of 24 dB from the DSP do I still have to also calculate the 12 dB of the amplifier or not?
The amplifier cut is set to full range so it's not clear to me if the 12db slope is still present or is it only activated when I set a high pass or a low pass?..
If the 12 dB were also present at full range, then they should add to the 24 of the DSP giving me a slope of 36dB... if so perhaps I should set 12dB of the DSP to get 24.
Can anyone tell me more?

If I recall, the only time that the this compounds the slope is if the two are crossed at the same frequency (same type crossover) same roll off at the same frequency.
