buyin a new car, suggestions?

I'd say if you are lookin to not spend a fortune and get a nice car get a Mazda3. Yeah, I'm partially saying that because thats what I did and like everyone I feel the need to rep the brand I own, but man that car is so nice for the cash.

I paid 17k with a 100,000 mile 0$ deductable warranty including tax title registration etc etc, out the door. i-Touring edition, 5 speed. It feels like a mini BMW and costs less than a Corolla. It's not superfast, but I routinely take it around 110+ on the highway and it does it EASILY. It redlines at 7k rpm, and at 3k+ rpms the thing unleashes some nice pickup, especially for its class/pricerange.

The whole suspension is MacPherson (sp) and it corners like a demon (again relative to its class/pricerange, its not a supercar). The sports suspension adds a LOT to the handling and fun of driving the car. The interior is pretty badass also.

5k on mine so far and I'm still VERY VERY happy with it.

Other than that I was considering the new Rabbit. Seems nice for the price but I fell in love with the 3, never got around to driving one, but I drove everything else in the pricerange (and significantly higher) and the 3 is BY FAR the coolest funnest car to drive for the money.

well that porche has been calling my name ever since i left the dealership...

if its still there when i get out of basic i will buy it most likely... i dont care if i eat beans and rice for a few years, it will be mine...

a ****ing porche boxter for only 30k... my pants grow tight...

Ah, the poor man's Porsche. $30k isn't that great of a price for a used Boxter, depending on how many miles it has. They can be had around here for $20k with 40-50k on them. They aren't really that quick, and like someone else said, they are pretty ugly (in my opinion, of course). They are pretty much made for people who can't afford a 911, but still want the Porsche name.

Nonsense, they're decently quick and handle fantastically. They're alot of fun to drive. I personally wouldn't buy one, but thats just me.
