buyin a new car, suggestions?

why am i an ***?

but ya today im gonna go up to mazda dealership and check out the 6's ...

ya the only point of this car is to get from point a to b and look nice and have a big trunk for my system ...

i was told that the usual is like 200 for every 10k, so a 20k car is like 400 a month... is this true? im gonna get my sgt to go with me before i sign any paperwork but this is the first time im gonna be buying a brand new car off a dealership, all the cars ive purchased where with privet owners i was able to haggle with... can you haggle a dealership? but ya, for now im just gonna be goin to all the carlots and test driving what catches my eye

o ya im not to interested in used cars... even a used lexus... im set on buying a brand new one , since it will be my first ever new-new car

Your an *** because you know why. I really dont have to get in to it, I am sure.

Anyway, what is your budget, because if your looking to get into an audi or Lexus then its gonna be more than 400 on brand new car unless your throwing down a hefty amount of a down payment. Otherwise you should be able to get something around 23000 and under for 450 and under with decent credit. I am at 610 which isnt all that good, but was getting into the mid 400's on a 23000 dollar vechichle. So you should be close to that.

Can you get a co signer? That would help if your credit isnt all that great.

yes you can haggle a dealership.

i suggest a used car 2-3 years old. you'll save in the long run, well you won't loose as much money in the long run

If he can afford a new car, then why not go with new.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

Cant get rebates on used

Then someone else had the car and even with all the carfax shit out there dont know how they drove it.

You can call it yours and get what you want when your stuck with a color, not the options you want on a used.

I could see if he was trying to save money, but he wants new, which he stated a couple times.

Also start fresh on a warranty, when used will run out quick unless you pay to get extra.

the money you save imo out weighs buying new. plus all 03 and 04 cars weren't all made the same color //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

as soon as that cars rolls off the lot you lost a couple grand right there

plus for the same payment, you can get a better model of car for the price of the new one

Your logic baffles me not only in sports but in real life situations. Must **** to think like you.

You are right about losing thousands when it rolls off the lot.

But he would be better buying new since he has the money. I mean you get a warranty and every option you can get. If you want to build your own car you have that option. When you buy used being at a dealership you do not always have the same model or color car. You get what is there and is a lot harder to be happy with something when say you like the color, but dont have the options you like or vice versa. Then you have built up miles on a car and like I said, never truely know how someone has driven a car. Then when you buy a used car off a lot you are paying thousands more in most cases because they have to cover their equity on the car. He would be better buying off a private owner selling used than at a dealership unless he is trading another car in.

He has already mentioned more than a couple times about he wants new, so I really dont know why we are arguing over this.

Oh thats right, because you like to argue just for the sake of arguing.

well i still dont know why im an *** but, i went up to the porche + bmw + vw + mercedez dealerships

so far im lookin at a boxter, vw gti, sl500, and a 325i

the boxter is only 30k since its used which is somewhat affordable, they also have a 325i which is an 01 for only 15k, im really leaning twords that... but once i test drove the vw gti i was in love... that thing has some balls, but its also nearly 30k but its brand new... but the pimp factor for the porche + beamer are nice...

Do the GTi. I loved when I test drove it. Thing was near 28 grand. I think you can get them a lot cheaper, but lose a lot of options. Porcshe boxters are ugly IMO and I wouldnt waste my money on a Porcshe unless it was a carrera 911. BMW are cool, but really, really expensive if you have to fix.

I also thought you were dead set on new which I think you should stick too being your spending that much money.

well the reason i was considering the used option was simply because they were a porche + bmw haha... ya im really thinkin about the gti... i wanted an r32 but was informed they only made 5000 or so...

and the whole paddle shifter + clutchless auto/manual thing is nice

I hear ya, but take in the warranty thing on used vechichles and going either Porcsche or BMW will cost an arm and a leg!

Then again VW can get costly, but at least your guareenteed a fresh start being its brand new. Nothing beats brand new especially the smell. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
