buyin a new car, suggestions?

well i decided its time for me to buy a brand new car...

went up to the dealership today and test drove an 07 mustang... very nice, even the v6 has some balls, fast enough for me since i dont really like speed all that much... and the trunk has space too! the model i was looking at was only 20k with 400 a month payment, which isent to bad...

tommorow im goin up there to test drive the extended cab ranger's and mayby one of the ford 500's... any other suggestions on a new car i should try out?

im not gonna be made of money so im not tryin to go over 500 a month payment with a few thousand down payment... credit + all that isent a problem since im now military ... i was thinkin of the new eclipses or mayby a subaru impreza (not sti) i just want something classy but nice too... something i can drive the ladies around in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The Firebird got the better end with the interiors, I don't like the Camaro's interior either.

Anyways, what will the car be used for? Just to get from point A to point B with a little style? There's no need for a truck unless you haul a lot (although I'm not sure how much a Ranger can haul...).

Your an ***, but I am willing to help you out. Being you can get in a 400 a month car payment, then your options are pretty limitless. I was car shopping a couple weeks ago looking for a bigger car for my family, but decided to stick with what I have being I have two cars anyway.

I test drove a few Fords from the new 2006 models that havent sold yet and some 07's. The Ford Fusion is a nice buy, almost got into one of those, but backed out. I recommend the V6 though, not their 4 banger, even though that goes pretty good, just the way they do their packages you get a lot more in the v6.

Ford 500 is nothing but a glorified Ford Tauraus. They are pretty blah, but drive nice.

Ford Focus ST is what I have(2006), but they have hella rebates going on them and can pretty much get a 19000 dollar car for close to 14 and is a heck of a car. They just dont have a lot of room for 5, lol! For 4 is good though. Has great speed, considered a sleeper and trust me on this. Is faster than my 2002 Eclispe GTS. Pretty decent on gas as well.

Chevy Impala LT was a nice car as well, but too big for me. They had a shit ton of rebabte money last month being presidents day sale, but dont know about now. Gave me kinda of a boat feeling when driving it.

Chevy HHR- Another decent car, but just gave off the feeling of making me feel very old and I was driving a PT Cruiser wannabe.

Chevy Malibu LT- Actually was a very nice car and had all the goodies and drove excellent, just wasnt sold on the exterior of the vechichle, however I drive a 4 door sedan myself, but was more money than I wanted to spend.

Dodge Caliber AWD R/T- Probably the nicest car I test drove. Almost bought this one as well. Had a lot of goodies and a nice Boston Acoustics sound system in it. Was very roomy as well which I needed.

Mazada 6 wagon- This is what I recommend as was a shit ton of fun driving. Had the 6-speed auto sport tronic shift in it and was a blast. All loaded and tons of room. I wanted most these cars and almost signed for 2 of them, but this was the last I looked at and if I am ready to get another car, will probably head this route. I wanted the wagon due to the space, but a lot of people dont like wagons even though it is slick looking. I would also recommend the sedan version.

I recommended all these because they are all right around a high 300 to mid 400 dollar range on decent credit. So just trying to help as I am in a giving mood.
