building the perfect system PART 2

you seem like a really crappy dude. since you're obviously too stupid to invest in an alarm, it shouldnt be long before your stuff gets swiped. i could help you, but i just despise people like you, so piss off and die.

i'll help as well. but in your situation, it's better for you to start off smaller and work your way up. 2 years ago i didn't kno crap about car audio, but i just wanted boom boom like you. well a year and a half later i've come a long way in the terms of what i've learned just from this site. i've saved myself money doing my own installs etc. but i still have tons to learn. it's upto you how you wanna do it.

You remind me of myself when i was young. I believed the louder the better, now i hate loud noise! After 18 years of listening to loud noise I have finally decided to turn the volume down and actual hear whats going on. I have what i would consider to be a very high SQ system. I enjoy my music at low volumes, rarely do i blast it, now i'm more of a calmer person, both audio-wise and personality wise. I know you are getting bored by all this crap so i'm going to get straight to the point.

At some point in your life, you will realise that loud noise is not music. After upgrading your equipment to higher quality products you will eventually begin to HEAR the difference. Hopefully you do not waste much of your live to discover this like i did. I have concluded by your post that you have no perception of SQ. That being said I would recommend getting 2 PA mofo 15's in 8 cu ft^3 NET @ 45hz. Will sound like complete as$, but to you will more than likely sound "very good."

have a nice day

When I said I felt like quiting I meant as in the reading and learning all this, I really had no idea you can learn all this stuff
I want a kick *** system but I will not spend days/hours or whatever you want to call it just to little every inch about everything that has to do with a system

The site is not just about building a system, its brokin down by the littlest part there is, there are people out there that owns a system that bangs like a mother****er and people that sumbit their systems for shows and I can bet at least half of them dont know the stuff on that site, for sure

I do believe that people can learn the main simplest stuff with basics and build a great system like many of you guys and people that are on the streets rolling.. Stuff such as.. ohm, watt, rms, wiring, amp, sub etc etc all the little terms in making a system you know?

but each time I'm trying something NEW hits up and I get lost.. I'm very well interestd I'm not going freaking crazy over this you know

and I do believe I'm going off too much on what I cant handle, like 2 12s l7, like what would i do? what should i watch out for befor i **** em up etc

I'm prolly only going to get 1 12" l7+amp to start off, then once I learn more I'll more on and add another 12" etc etc you know

If anyone esle would still like to help me, please be more then welcome to post back if you dont then please just leave and dont post back not that I hate you but it saves me time to read the worthless crap
Noones saying you need to know everything there is to know about car audio bro, just the basics. Those are just simple terms that I think everyone with a radio should know. But like I said before, where do you live at? Are you in Michigan? I would be more than happy to meet up with you after you buy all your stuff and help you get it all setup right. Don't let the overload of information scare you, its not all that difficult. We all were at a point before when we had no idea what we were doing, it just takes a little thinking and help from others to understand how all of this stuff works. If you not dead stuck on getting the L7's I would highly reccommend an Alpine Type R, they can get very loud and you can get a used one for really cheap, heck its probably gonna be the next sub I run strictly because they are so inexpensive. If you want me to shop around for you a little bit and help guide you towards what you should get I will be more than happy to, just let me know. Good luck man! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

on headunit, apline 7889 (7998?) is a good one. pioneer are pretty good. also the eclipse 8545 or 8445 is a great deck. clarion, kenwood excelon beyond that. as for amp, the zx650.1 will work.
