I plan on covering the two big holes in each door with some 1/2 mdf when I make a different set of pods for the mids and move the tweets to the a-pillars.

Ive heard of some people having issues with FatMat not sticking on real good, but I havent had any issues yet. I made sure I cleaned all surfaces with some degreaser before applying it, but it sticks very well. It was definitely hard to pull back off.

BTW might get some welding done in the back tonight, we will see. Im definitely not up for getting under the car and welding so that will have to wait till this weekend.

looks good.....those r's should like that kicker...but for how long;)
...and I've used Fatmat too, never a problem
Im surprised actually with the R's lol. I havent played around with anything on the amps really, just messin with settings on my deck. But they have handled everything Ive thrown to them. Ive been easy on them, but for short periods Ive unleashed all the power I got on them, and they slammed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Ill be taking them back out though whenever the recone gets here for the XXX.

I cant stand driving around in the winter on salty roads. It drives me crazy, I wish I could just drive my snowmobile everywhere instead.

But, hopefully I wont have to worry this winter as long as I can get this done in the mean time. School starts back up in 10 days though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif I know I wont have a lot of time then, but hopefully I can make time on the weekends.
My car had absolutely no rust until I moved to MI. All that salt killed my sheet metal. Nothing but surface rust though, But I only lived there 2 years so who knows what would have happened if I stayed. I'm kind of glad I got the chance to move back to Stl for that reason.

Nice build btw, can't wait to see how everything turns out!

Well, sittin at work wishin I was back at home so I could do some more work on this thing. My KX 450.2 should be there when I get back //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Yeah definitely, too bad I dont have the wire to put in all the amps. Im limited to just running two right now, so I will stay passive for a few more weeks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Loosened these R's up a good bit lol, get to give them back to their owner all broken in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I have them turned way down right now, since Ive been more focused on tuning the front stage, but with how they sound now it would be hard to tell whats in there for a sub stage if you didnt already know. They sound **** good for what they are.

thats nice man....hahaha. Don't worry bout those R''s they will take it. I will see if I have any speaker wire for ya to go active too. I would do it, but **** too complicated for me.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

^^ Yeah that would be sweet. Ive got most of the speaker wire I need, I just need a bunch of 8ga and 4ga and I still need to pick up a couple distro's.

Did some work on the deck. Got a piece of square tubing cut and clamped into the deck. Rolled the edges over a little with the body hammers, and if I have time tommorow Ill lay some beads on it and add the cross braces.

Also got the 450.2 hooked up, powers the CDT's very nicely. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Cant wait to get this thing going active. Waiting on a set of ID OEM mids as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
