Man, my eyes are really burning......I must have looked into the arc a few too many times today.....ouch

I just kept having to take my shied off to see what I was doing, and I would get anxious and do a few tacks just closing my eyes or looking away....**** THAT SHIT!!! Im gettin a new lens tomorrow for sure

Need some opinions though people.....Im not sure what material to use in the trunk.

I was thinking either vinyl, suede, or velvet. Im leaning towards vinyl, but I dont want that fake leather style vinyl. I want it to be smooth.

I cant stand driving around in the winter on salty roads. It drives me crazy, I wish I could just drive my snowmobile everywhere instead.

But, hopefully I wont have to worry this winter as long as I can get this done in the mean time. I went to bed and it wasnt too bad, but my eyes were hurting. I sleep for about an hour, then I wake up and Im blind. Literally could not see, everything was blurry, my eyes were on fire, dripping wet, I panic thinking Im blind, stuble all over my house trying to find the bathroom. I lay down for a while in absolute agony, then Im about to crawl back to my room and my pops wakes up and finds me.

He knew exactly what was up and took me straight to emergency. Couldnt see a thing till now. I can peek my right eye open a little, but any light hurts. So Im basically looking down with my eyes closed typing.

At emergency I got some numbing drops, and they scanned my eyes with a black light, wrote me a prescription, gave me a tetnis and an eye patch, then sent me on my way. What a ****ing weekend, oh well, cant work, drive, or see for the next two days.

Lesson learned, will get myself a new shield and lens when I can see to drive.

****it man, I just got up about a half hour ago. My eyes are still really sensitive. This shit sucks. I cant believe I let this happen. I guess just being under my car so close to the arc would do it. There were definitely a few times that I looked the other way or just closed my eyes when I was tacking, but it was pretty much necessary to do what I was doing. It was about impossible to hold the gun in one spot, slide out to get my mask on, then slide back in for a tack.

Whatever, wont ever do that again.

Well, Im not working till tomorrow. Im gonna try and get some stuff done on my car today, we'll see. Hopefully get my RCA's ran, maybe some speaker wire.

Got some stuff done today. Laid my roll of deadener and ran all my rca's and speaker wire.

Covered the trunk lid, both doors really good, as well as the door panels and a little bit of the rear deck area. All the rca's and speaker wires are ran for when the other amp gets here. Its all setup for active but I just wired the crossovers back in for now.
