Got it on finally. Ended up drilling and taping the fender bolts to 3/8" which turned out great. I used the cap head style allen bolts on those, then drilled out the hood side of the hinges to 5/16" and used a nut/carriage bolt combo. It actually turned out really good and its definitely an improvement over stock.
Still needs some fine tuning. The fender gaps are really close, it just needs a slight shift in the drivers side hinge to make it perfect. I need to do some sanding to the backside of the hood near the window for some more clearance at the wiper cowl. Its also sitting high at the corners from the factory hood posts. I gutted out the secondary part of the latch since it was too wide to work, so Im definitely going to order some hood pins.
