And thats where Im at right now. Got the inserts cut out, just need to finish sanding both sides. Got some paint on the one side to see where Im at, but I think Im going to go ahead and use some of the metallic paint I got instead of black on the inside. I think it will look pretty good, but I might miss the contrast.

The grill is looking great so far. Im pretty much done with the sanding. Ive knocked everything down with 80 grit to where it needs to be, Ive just gotta finish hitting it with 180 to get some of the deep scratches out.

Fingers are killing me after sanding that **** plastic for almost 2 hours with 80 grit pads. I lightly went over it with 180 before spraying some paint on it to see how its looking so far.

Im probably going to run back downstairs in a minute and shoot some metallic coat on it to see how that will look.

It sucks, if you look back at pics of the mock up for the amp, you can see the wood is wet underneath the sub....pretty much right at the opening of the amp. After the sub has been chillen in there for a while now, the wood is getting more and more wet and I finally noticed it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Too bad I didnt notice sooner, I could have put a little cover on the motor, like a beanie cap with a hole cut for the pole vent or something, to keep it from getting all frosted up.

Just checked out the grill after the paint cured overnight, it looks good so far!

About to leave for work......//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif till 6, so Im gonna try and do the last couple things to it tonight and get it painted up. Ill see if I feel like cutting up the mesh or not, might end up partyin instead who knows.
