Build Log: XXX Install and More...

I was originally gonna wait to start on them since I dont have everything I need but I got anxious. Too bad I waited till almost 8 to start, could have finished. Ran out of glue too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif So one of the panels couldnt get resined till I can finish gluin the fleece. (Still gotta get some 40/40 and kitty hair. My birthday is in 3 weeks to soo maybe I can get the relatives to pitch in for a shit ton of vinyl //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif)

Thats where Im at right now. Got another project to work on tomorrow, so maybe after that if Im lucky I can finish resining these all up, maybe do some re-enforcing from the back with some mat too.

Any and all comments welcome. Will do 40/40 on the edges, then kitty hair along the bottom, then some bondo.

Probably just gonna wrap the entire panels with vinyl, I might do some suede on the top cloth piece too.

Very nice Mikey, I wanted to do dual ID mids myself but no money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif cant wait until this build is complete.

Looking good. The speaker that will be facing you,is that midrange?
Naa, they are both 6.5 mids. But that does leave the door open to go 4-way down the road if I want to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

The good part is so far the door panels havent cost me a penny. All the materials thus far I have had layin around. But....to finish them I gotta spend some //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif:greedy://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

Man I just keep running out of supplies //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif...too bad Im broke now after buying all the stuff I did //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Ran out of glue again, so the corner of the passenger side panel had the fabric pull back a little, but Ill be able to fix it no problem.

Ran out of hardener too so I was only able to do a little resin on that panel.

Gonna have to wait till this coming weekend to buy some more materials and finish them up.

Got a couple pics though.

Are you planning on doing anything additional to secure your door panel to the sheet metal in the door? I ask because my driver's side door in my 1996 Thunderbird was real loose and sloppy when I traded it in around December 1999. Your (ETA unmodified) Cougar panels look real similar to the panels that I had in my 1996 Thunderbird.
