Hoping to resolve the glue issue with some beating on it, but if all else fails, Ill pull the dust cap off and see whats going on inside.....

Yeah me too man, me too. Its a ***** to put the amount of work into it that I did and then having something as simple and stupid as this **** it up.

Oh well, live and learn. I was skeptical about the inner dust cap too, I shouldnt even have used it. Finally got the time and energy to finish up that driver side rocker. Its not completely finished, but its done for the most part.

Also got a pic of the passenger side, found a nice size hole over there too, so I cleaned it out a little and plugged it up until I have the time to do that side.

Im just happy I got the drivers side done so I dont have to worry about it rotting out on me.

Turned out daaammnn good imo. The metals still rough from all the grinding I was doing, but once I start on the passenger side, Ill come through and do another light grind on the drivers side, hit it with the die, skim coat of bondo, and another sand before some paint. BTW just got back from the shop. Went and threw it up on the lift and put on a set of lower ball joints. Too bad I didnt grab a set of tie rod ends on the way out, Ill have to throw a set on in a couple weeks.
