I've seen amartin's 8'' aeros and they're real nice, maybe look into one of those. I don't really like competing too much either but just going to the shows and hanging out and hearing other people's cars is fun.

True my buddy that built the box competes so we might just come out... Ill see whats up... Thats not too close for me just to come hang out... lol

I don't seriously compete either, but I enjoy hanging out and hearing other cars and giving demo's, so I check the comp section for shows in the area.

Sorry ill get u some pics... heh As for it facing forward it just wasnt nearly as loud as firing into the trunk... Mind u im not sealing the box off making it a mini wall... As soon as i get my amp back from repair im going to cut the port and tune the box to about 34 hz...

mlstrass i would love to do the same but on the weekends i dont have alot of time cause of my other hobby... lol Im sure ill make it out to an event soon to check it out...

BTW are those 8 inch aeros home made or can u get them online?

U can get tubes at home depot that can be glassed or whatever for strength but you have to fabricate your own flares.

No not yet but it isnt tuned right yet... Im waiting to get the amp back and then getting the correct tuning... Should have everything including a new kinetik hc1800 done and installed by wednesday... I will then play with it... I think not having it sealed off from the trunk is the big problem and im not going to go that far into it... Like i said this is just a street beater...
