Yeah the fps rate on the camera must be really low or something because it is almost impossible to get it to pick up any movement of anything. If you get it to focus really well and dont move at all it will kind of pick it up.Oh, aight. It just looked like it was getting very little excursion in the video. It wouldn't make sense that a KX2500.1 wouldn't push it really well. The install is great btw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif. If I ever do an 18 or 2 in a trunk car again, that's exactly how I'll do it. I don't like not having visibility with a wall. Your design seems to be the only smart way to have an 18 in a car.
Have you gotten it metered?
I was playing like 10hz through the sub and the camera didnt get anything, it was as if the sub still.
And thanks, I guess if there is a smart way to have an 18 in a trunk car this would be it! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif There was just no way I was going to loose the back window in this car lol.
Oh yeah and it has been metered, this setup peaks at around 31~34hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif And sealed up does a 144.X at 31hz and a 147.X at 31hz with the door/window open.
Thats a **** fine score in my opinion for the note that its at. From the get go this setup was meant for daily low-end ground pounding, it has been a complete success. If I wanted to pull high numbers it would be tuned towards the resonant freq. of the car, but theres no way I could drive around listening to any type of music like that....not me.
However, thats the beauty of this design. Once I find my cars peak freq. I will tune in that neighborhood and just have a spl port to drop in if I want to do numbers.
Its still not done though but is getting closer each couple weeks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
