Build ideas

Right now I'm running one L5 with the stock front and rear stage speakers in a 98 civic coupe. I want to replace everything and I was wanting some ideas. I want a good mid range build for daily use, not competing. Therefore I don't care for it to be strict SPL or strict SQ, I just want something that beats down the block and sounds good. I know thats pretty general but if you guys could, throw me some ideas. I would like to run a little more power in my sub stage while also a little cleaner bass. Can I achieve some cleaner bass without going with a sealed box? Or do you think I could run a sealed box for cleaner bass and achieve more power than the L5 is running ported right now? Throw me some ideas if you can, I'll keep posting back and hopefully I can narrow in on some speakers for the whole car. I already have the big 3 ran, and I know I'm going to get tons of opinions, but hopefully someone sells me some stuff and I avoid buying bad stuff and just learning from that experience.
