Friend has a ext cab silverado no back seat so plenty of room. Hes the big spender type but still on a budget. He had 4 15" RF p3's in there with one amp that some shop did and he sold it and now he wants something about as loud or louder but less setup.

Thinking probably a single sub setup with a good sized box and amp.

Any reccomendations? Lets say 1500 to spend on amp sub and box. He already has a 240 amp alt and all 1/0 awg ran. With updated comp set and seperate amp.

yes sir pretty much got that end covered just need speaker amp reccomendations that will be on the spl side

Cant go wrong wit the Fi btls or maybe a dc lvl 5 i would go with maybe a sundown amp. I love my rockford amp too but they are kinda pricey if you buy new can find better sundown deals on this site as i found out after dropping the money for my fosgate If you are stuck on single sub i wouldfor sure go wit 18" whatever you do going to prolly be the loudest being more cone area My best guess to be louder then those 4 15s is to go with 2 18 btls on 2 3000d sundown amps This in a 10^3ft box tuned to 30 would sound awesome in that truck

well most likely will be buying new cause im sure he wont want anything used lol

also rather keep it simple with one sub and amp if possible.

Thought the rockford fosgate 3000bd amp would be nice if there was a decent sub to handle 3000 rms

so no single sub amp setup will be louder than 4 15" RF p3's in box with no airspace and one amp? i believe he hit close to a 150 with this setup but not sure what mic.

Maybe a 21 death penalty That will get hella loud lol but i not sure about box for these Never heard one myslef but hear nothing but good things about them

How about 2 09 model Kicker 15" l7s and a Kicker zx2500.1? think that will be a decent setup in the right box?

or would it be better to get that amp and get a single 15 or 18 from Fi ?
