Fi Q 15", Not enough power?

Im running a md2d wired down to 1ohm on a Q 15" and it barely beats....so little that its a big disappointment. Makes me wonder is this amp underrated or just not enough for a Q?(says 1000w rms sub but a little more with BP power)? I read otherwise saying this amp will infact do 1500+ at 14.4 but it does not seem like its really pressing..excursion is next to nothing , A single BTL moved more on 1200w then this Q does. Amp is tuned properly to 38.7v for 1500w at 1ohm. Voltage maintains over 14v as well.

Any ideas?

If it isn't moving you've got the coils wired out of phase.

One is trying to go forward at the same rate as the other is trying to go backwards and it isn't going to work..

Ill check with a cell battery tho to make sure of the polarity as things couldve been mixed up. Thx for the advice.

or you're RCA's arent both in the correct place...

TEST you're wiring to make sure you're @1 ohm

what are the specs on you're box?

Negative about the wiring, it was at 1ohm i checked it(to verify my wiring on the coils was correct). RCAS are correct as made sure of that in the beginning.

Box is prefab, around 2.5cus, also to further verify something is up port noise/breeze is minimal as well.

And im about to check the polarity here shortly after work, going to pop the trunk real quick and see.

EDIT:

Turns out it was the sub sonic filter, this amp new out of the box(YES) had all the knobs, including the gain all the way turned clockwise..therefore the subsonic was at like 30+.
