my silence is deadly...
try about 36.5" with the same area, that should get you around 37ish. not to shure if the 1508's like tuning much lower than about 35hz.
iam running 1 tuned to about 37hz on an mtx 81000d and that little bastard gets down very well.i am using 3 each at 35 hertz in 3 net off a saz 1500 with success
Thats how much the port volume is? Man, i was thinking it was a lot less for some reason.gross volume : 4.41ft^3- port volume: 1.41ft^3
-sub displacement: .3ft^3
-----------------------------
2.7ft^3
With a 11.25" x 6" port, you have a tuning right around 40hz, according to the carstereo.com calc.
I was taking into account that the first .75" doesn't count as displacement, since it's the outside of the box and not taking up any internal space.how did you get 1.41 ft^3 for the port displacement?
its 1.47ft^3 to be exact! haha
edit:
you should keep them in about .5-.6ft each after dispThats how much the port volume is? Man, i was thinking it was a lot less for some reason.
I'll bump up the height 1 inch, that should put me over 3 cubes.
So my box should only be 2.0-2.5 cubes net? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifyou should keep them in about .5-.6ft each after dispalso tune 38-42 with them. you will be happier if you do it now rather than rebuild later.
