*Box design w/ pics...*

Okay, I used bassbox pro 6, and doing my best to fit a 6 cube box into a small a** trunk, this is what I came up with:

i dont think your port is wide enough. should go with a wider port.

it's 24.5"x1.825", tuned to 28Hz, the box at 31.82Hz, the graphs it gave me, I did my best to get a good flat response with the limited air space...I'll look into making the vent wider

The highest I can go is "2.82" is the largest I can get without shrinking the area of the vent opening inside the box below 2.82

Fb = 28.85Hz

24.5 x 1.825 is way too skinny, 24.5 x 2.82 is still too skinny.

have you thought of using aeroports?

Well, I looked into mounting the vent elsewhere, and came up with this:

old:

Hv = 24.5 in

Wv = 1.825 in

Lv = 24.5 in

@28Hz

F3 = 31.82 Hz

new:

Hv = 5.25 in

Wv = 5.25 in

Lv = 10.25 in

@29.14Hz

F3 = 31.49 Hz

The vent will be mounted facing the same direction of all the drivers (unlike last time where it was mounted on the side) in the top right-hand corner in the picture.

I still think you should make the port a lot bigger especially if your using all 4 subs. the width 5.5" is alright but id go with a higher port also.

tuned low for SQ, but around 32Hz, still good!

Not going comp and blowing out my windows here..

if I make the ports any bigger, the length will be too long and will go straigt through the box...I'll see what I can do...thanks for the help!
