Box Design Single HDD 12 in trunk

Ronal suggests 1.75-2.5 with 14 to 16" of port per cube tuned to 35hz. I'm using Torres and I'm having a little trouble figuring out how to get the numbers to match. My set dimensions are 36"W and 14"H, the depth can be all the way up to 23". The sub will be getting about 3000 watts.

Can anyone explain # of port walls, how much port area I should be shooting for, and displacements?
