Box build help!

I'm going to be building a box. I got a 2005 jeep grand Cherokee and im wanting to build a custom box for it. need some help on a few things. I have 2 12s ill be putting in it.

the manual shows these measurments for one sub.

Volume (cu.ft.) 2.25

Vent Opening (in.) 2.5 x 12

Vent Length (in.) 31.5

Tuning Freq 33Hz

im wanting vents above the speakers still facing the same way as speakers tho. can any body help me with a design and measurments I can build up to 43 inches wide 29" tall

And the speakers are Phoenix gold ELITE.12d4

subs up port back would be best in that truck or second option subs and port back

is it better too separate the subs by putting in a divider in the middle or keep it open?

can anbody help my mainly with the port sizing it says 2.5 x12 what does that mean I know 2.5 inches tall but is that 12 inches wide? or 12 inches deep and if lets say the box was 20 inches wide the port would be 2.5x20x12? my plans are doing 36 inches wide 21 inches tall and than how ever deep I have to go might have to go smaller and have the box deeper tho
