Box design for Sundown Audio E8

My girlfriend eventually wants a system in her vehicle. Nothing really loud or anything, just a bit more bass then stock and inexpensive. I showed her the E8 and she thought a small sub was "cute" and wants one. The small box would leave space in the trunk as well.

I plan on building the box for her, but I must be retarded. The recommendations for the box are 0.60 ft^3 tuned to 30 Hz ported. I've been messing around with the calculator on RE's site and can't figure out how I would tune it that low in such a small box. The only way I was able to do it is if I make the port only 0.5" wide, which sounds way too skinny for me.

2" aeroport maybe? Perhaps a smaller square port? Tune higher(35hz)?

I am having the same problem with the pair I have so I bought a third. In 1.2, even having the box 30 inches wide it wasnt long enough for the port needed. Just like SS RLI 8 you have to have a port that comes back and forth across the box. Thats a low tune and a small space. Smaller port area means less length, but you can choke it, unless you want a lot of port noise. You could also use External Aero, but it will have to be long. You have to have someone good at building boxes design one.

She actually decided she wanted to go with two E8's instead of just one, so I'll probably build the box like this.
