well RAM_Designs, if i ever come up with some extra cash ill have you help me out with the box! haha

because i would defiantly like to get the most i can outta these subs! but either way, yea should be interested how these preform!

they like 0.83 each, with a higher tuning 40+

wont do much below 32hz, so set your subsonic there. will handle 2kw.

if you do a 5.0 ft^3 box @ 40-42 hz you will be very happy with results. Not much on the super lows, but they def deliver.

well i was hoping to have them around 34-35, i like rap/hip hop a lot, so i want them to hit decent lows. But im not expecting them to hit lows like a 15 haha

yeah, min 38hz tuning on those. 34 would be ******, i did 34 for my first enclosure for them, and they didnt do too good, and power handling was way down. shoot higher

This is definitely not the sub for you if you're going to have dedicated mids in the doors...

well they are mainly to play with for now, ill end up getting new subs later on..

I just wanna play with these, plus the tang bands are later down the road as well.

be around 4.5 @ 36hz....the 1' 11 1/4'' should be 2'

what is the safe height to width size for port? I thought it was a 10:1 or less ratio was safe? otherwise port noise = ftl

This looks like 11.6 to 1

But it could be 12. to 1. Can somebody clearify?

oh my bad port lengh total is 25'' so its 20.75'' back then 4.25'' up

im no expert box builder but 11.6:1 isnt going to hurt much compared to 10:1....

well if I remmeber correctly it was either 10 to 1 or 12.1 max otherwise you get lots of port noise. Im just not sure which. I always went by 10 to 1
