civic boi: if you need to design a box i HIGHLY suggest you check out ngsm13's box tutorial...it is much easier than mine (yes i admit it) and you can get a box done if you follow the directions, in probably 5 mins.

just remember the that when it asks for dimensions its meaning INTERNAL dimensions.

you will feel like you accomplished something and will be able to help others in the future.....ya dig?

I did that but It threw me off the 2nd thread with the top, bottom, thingy with the depth +1.5. I was up until 6.30 this mornin doin that shit!lol

dont pay attention to that second post of his. not saying its bad info, just saying its confusing.

best thing to do is make a random box on RE just so you can see a picture. then you can see which sides overlap and which ones dont. all he was doing in the second post was subtracting and adding 1.5" (mdf is .75 inches. so since you have 1 layer on each end of the box you have to add 1.5" to the internal dimensions to account for it).

BTW:

1) thugs dont go to/finish college....

2) thugs dont say "LOL"

3) thugs dont work at walmart...or anywhere else

4) car audio guys dont run 2 12" cvx kickers with 2 12" l7's....
