Box Design for (4) Fully Loaded FI BTL 12's

dont know about that amp but im assuming it only puts out 4000 watts?

that hardly enough to get each sub moving to their potential.

i would do 2 15's off 2k each in 8 cubes...

or maybe 4 12" q's would work off that amount of power as well.

For some reason I decided to draw something up real quick for you. 36wx36dx14.5h. Port is 12.5hX6w 22" long tuned to 35hz. This would work great for the 4 btls.

To get that box in the trunk of an Impala he would have to cut some support out and slide it in through the back seat. It just wont fit through the trunk opening.

i would use pvc, but i wouldn't even do 4 12's they wouldn't even be at their potential and your basically throwing your money away, get some 15s and call it a day..

In a way I see where u coming from but I never did 15's, and I kno they get loud but to me they just dont hit as hard as 12's... But thats just me

With the power you are intending on running, 7 cubes net would be plenty of room for (4) BTL 12's. Do you have anyone that will be building the box?? I build boxes and have several references. Personally my recommendation would be to go with the (2) 15 idea. What year is the Impala?

ok. but how do you plan to support a potential current draw of 400A+ (assuming 70% amp efficiency)...
