A 4" aero would be too long to mount on the front baffle like i intended, the only place I would be able to mount a 4" would be on the side of the box. Id rather have the port and subs both firing forward.

My friend and I made a design for these kind of subs not too long ago, a guy bailed out on us when he wanted a build for them. I could post up the dimensions when I get home. If I remember correctly it was tuned to around 33hz.

Had quite the bit of port area, it uses a slot port though not aero.

I've got 2 3" ports, both 10.7". The 3" port will be fine.

Finally got around to making a sketchup of the new design. I fixed the weird baffle board too I think this one looks much better! What do u guys think?

Here is a new design i came up with this one is dual chambered! Each chamber is .75ft^3 with a slot port tuned to 32hz. I like this design much better. Slot ports FTW!

I have 2 in my wife's car in 1.2@37hz and it crushes lows and has a very flat response.
