Box Build for vetkilr

****, I just realized your refrigerator is flush mounted into the wall. That's just plain ballin' right there.

Finally got a little more done on this project. I have one of the two parts completely finished, and the second is 80% carpeted. Im getting the threaded inserts to put them together tomorrow, and going to install them. Then it will be ready to package up and send out.

Little more progress tonight. I got the second enclosure carpeted. The customer is going to be mounting them together once he gets them in the truck, so I drilled and installed the threaded inserts for him. I ended up using 8 of the 3/8" inserts with bolts. It held them together very well. Those things wont be separating.

Is that what we are gonna use to support the subs also???J
That wasnt the plan, but I might be able to get you some and send them along. Just depends on if my supplier has enough in stock or not... LMK.

they way the panels come together so its easier to cut out... i can see it
Bingo. Only thing that was changed from Pete's original, was the orientation of the panels.

Actually it was and I quote:

"I actually have a better option yet

I have used threaded wood inserts in the builds that involve interchangeable ports. Its basically a "nut" in a way, that screws into the wood. Inside it has threads to accept a bolt. Works very very well, and would probably be your best option.

B.J."

This was in reference to how Birch grabs better and is stronger to hold subs.

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
