BOSS sub enclosure recommendation..??

The Opti drive should do you well, it is a lot more than the BOSS though...

Here is a consolidated list of what you need to do.

-Set Low Pass Filter to 80hz or 90hz

-Turn the sub channel on you head unit to 0

-properly set you gain, that "volume" knob on your amp is the gain, do not turn it all the way up you will clip the signal because the gain is based on input voltage and impedance of the driver.

it is quite a bit more for the Optidrive but it does look nice.....

right....i'll adjust the head unit settings as suggested, i did turn it right up earlier on & the whole lot cut out & then came back on..?? only for a second but the HU went off too...

battery maybe..??, cant see ''gain'' causing the HU power to cut out..... can it..??

That Aq would be great. but it would cost what, like 200$ to ship it? haha

Sorry I don't know what could be going on with that turning off issue, if it doesn't happen again I wouldn't worry about it.

with the LPF switched on the amp, no ''high notes'' get through at all!!..??

your not supposed to get any highs through your sub, subs are not made to play more than 80-100 hz.

your not supposed to get any highs through your sub, subs are not made to play more than 80-100 hz.

The LPF will technically let some through though, correct? Just very very weak signals the higher the note until they are essentially nothing.

not really sure on how far the lpf cuts down the signal or if it cuts it out, it just makes them inaudible

Lanzar 262 2 channel amp.

now im fully aware this amp wont put out rated wattage, but its onboard fuse config tells me i'll get a good 1000wrms with the 2 channels bridged. (120A total)

& its cheap!!

now what i dont need is ppl jumping in & telling me how **** it all is b/c i guarantee it'll deliver some good tones.... the rest of the car is covered in FLI 5.25 comps (suppose theyre crap too) so even if the bass isnt as clear as say a 12'' DD & a 2000w Genesis monoblock, it'll be hard to pick out IMO

i welcome your opinions as long as they relate to the H/W thats listed.... i simply dont have the money to get next lvl stuff.
