Bolts in sub box

Just built my box and I put a couple bolts into it for the + and - wires. Anyway I put a washer on each side to get more contact with the ring terminal and when I drilled the holes I didn't think about the size of the washer. So the washers on each bolt are like 1 cm apart from touching. Is this OK? As long as they never touch (which is kinda impossible since they're locked down tight) I should be ok right?

Once you tighten the nut you'll be all set, there will be enough space making contact. But you might want to think of a more permanent wiring option, like maybe just running the wire through the side of the box to the sub. The bolts may increase the resistance and raise the load your amp see's. A couple people I know have tested this and using bolts raised their ohms from the 2 ohms the subs were wired to, up to 2.6-3 ohms at the amp. Might not be a huge deal to you, but it does mean less power being pushed out of the amp.
