2 gauge instead of 0

So I got my mech man alt, but can't install it because nobody around here sells 0 gauge!!! It's a 200 amp model, and they recommend using 0 gauge from the alt to the battery, ground, etc.

There are a few places that sell 2 gauge, and was wondering if that would suffice. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

no it will not, maybe knukonceptz will ship you some if you beg them. go to their website http://www.knukonceptz.com and see.

Have you checked welding supply stores too? they'll have 1/0ga. wire and maybe larger wire. Boat stores are a good place to look too if there are any in germany. Try the termpro forums. there are german competitors and I'm sure they get the big wire from somewhere

I can definitely get some "local" (about a 30-40 min drive), it's just a crazy rip off at around 20 euro per meter. With the dollar as weak as it is, that's right around $10 a foot, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

However, the 2 gauge that's local isn't the greatest...but if it'd work, then I'd get it...but I guess not from what you're saying.
