Not bad , I would of done things differently. But to each his own. For the record, putting tweets in a pillars doesn't require much ( if any) fiberglass. Doesn't really take a lot of skill either. A hole saw, a little bit of kitty hair, a little filler on top and bammo tweets in the a pillars. Aiming takes longer than building them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I am no where near finished.......it is a build thread log, not a complete build log.
And Ramos you have been doing stuff like this for years. You are a master fab guy, so of course it wouldn't be squat to you, not to mention is it not your job?
I have 3 kids with one coming on the way and never worked with fiberglass and barely have enough time to work on my car once every few weeks. If I had the time, I would learn it and probably be all for it, I just don't, so they went somewhere very simple, where many people run their tweets.
Thanks for the comments though.
Sorry, win what?
This is beginning to make sense. As you seem to look at forum communication as some sort of contest, your pattern is to lie when you get cornered in hopes of "winning" something. You did that with Rudy, and you tried doing it with me. It all comes down to one thing: you lie at will and nothing you say is to be trusted on its face value. Found that slip, yet?
STFU is all I can say to you anymore. To dense in your old age, unlike Ramos. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I'm with James on the tweeter location...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif I would've mounted them in the kicks....I haven't read the whole thread yet...but I can't see anything wrong with adding performance enhancements...to a stock vehicle...I had added a complete Saleen Focus suspension to my old Focus ST...and a Roush Focus exhasust before I got rid of it....I never did anything to the engine but if I kept it long enough I would have....the little 2.3 is pretty peppy for a 4 banger behind a 5spd...stock...but those who haven't driven one will always argue....
To each their own, Ramos wrapped it up with that said.
Stock was peppy, no doubt. Wish I never did the work I did to it to be honest. Besides sticking up with some stock stangs, and hitting the tracks once in a blue moon, it wasn't worth it.
I liked the car a lot, espescially its handling. Its straight line performance was fine for what it was, similar to our 2.3L Mazda3. Ultimately, though, we opted for a minivan of all things. It's utility is unprecedented, IME; it's more handy than we ever imagined. I'll be installing a system in it over the summer.
Christ, the ST is basically the same car as the 3, lol!
And at least I still have my man card and next year getting either a TB or Exploder with triple row seating. Hell my wife won't even do the minivan. Sucks for joo! And I imagine someone who had a minivan would have to come up with something along the lines of how the utility would be. DOH, its a minivan!
