i know audiobahn has a 10F cap is like $300 but i have heard there are some that are 50F i don't know anything about those

Before getting a cap, make sure your altenator is capable of handling the load the amp is going to put on it. As for your question about caps I saw a post earlier where Zane had listed a few sizes and how much power they stored. If your thinking about this monster you might want to invest in a new alternator. Or have your current one rewound to squeeze everything out you can. I know several people running shredder's. They **** some serious juice. Are you going to use this for daily listening ?

If you want the mother of all caps out there you have a couple choices.

Alumapro makes a 100 farad monster called "the cap" phoenix gold has similar caps that Alumapro manufactures for them.

There is also a company out there called Xstatic, who makes "Batcap" which is a hybrid battery/capacitator, 1 Batcap is equal to 100, 1 farad capacitators and is extremely compact in size, these "Batcaps" are starting to become popular with the DBdrag competitors because of their hybrid half battery half capacitator design.

i was wondering where you get a bat cap and how much do they run? i saw there ad in a mag and have been to their website but i havent seen them for sale anywhere.
