Both are good. See who gives you the best one. Don't skimp on that piece, it's the heart of the electrical.
How or what website can I go to determine the resonance frequency of a vehicle or application? You could easily do a wall with 2 12s in 3.5 cu each.Anything like a hds or hd3 with 3.5 ported to 34-38 hz would really get low and loud.
But you would need atleast 2500-3000 watts to really push them.
Most if not all the time if you have more space it takes less power to push a sub hard.
My single 12 in a truck in a 3.2 cu after displacements is really hammering hard which is tuned to 34 since my resonance freq is around 45hz..
At the moment im only pushing 500-600 watts until i can get a bigger amp.
You can't get that from software. You get that from testing and that's only if you are doing a burp car. You don't want that in a daily setup. How or what website can I go to determine the resonance frequency of a vehicle or application?
It can be used as a daily aslong as you dont base yoir box tuning on the freq. You can't get that from software. You get that from testing and that's only if you are doing a burp car. You don't want that in a daily setup.
What you peak at is not your resonance. You can tune at 30 and peak at 30 or 34 or 50hz. To find your RF you use a .707 qts sealed box and a term lab. If you tune around it it's going to peak like hell there and **** everywhere else.It can be used as a daily aslong as you dont base yoir box tuning on the freq.
Thats the reason i tuned my box to 34 so atleast itll be good upto 40-42hz for music.
I listen to decaf and rap so im hitting the notes good..
Used resonance freq as a limit for box tuning not for spl burping.
Again reason why i did it.. Starting to seem like you like hearing yourself think. What you peak at is not your resonance. You can tune at 30 and peak at 30 or 34 or 50hz. As for the op if you want to feel that intense bass then tune your box as i did near resonance freq.
Leaving it a bit under tuned helps using for daily.
Im not the one who made the box.. For thr most part me and the man who helped got a seal box around 1 cu and placed it in multiple spots to test the freq on a termlab..How did you go by getting your RF?
Your 50/50 correct. You don't just test the box in the car. I bet you have very limited bandwidth, that's not the best for daily that's the best for a severe peak and high roll off
Mechman has the most affordable alts.In getting the Diehard's for a deal from a local. Then getting my HU, Pio X4600BT. Who has the best alts for around $400? I know of mechman an singer....
I tuned for daily. Plays between 1.5db from 27-50, plays down to 25 and up to 60 when my mid bass picks up.Your 50/50 correct.
I currently hit down to 27hz-46hz if im lucky to get 46hz..
If i wanna really get low or hit higher i have to open the doors and windows.
What if I had volt meters an fans? An I'l do electric b4 I get into some gangsta shyt. The DH Platinum's are an eBay deal an dudes bring patient, so I have to get those first, my stock alt is 130a. I think that shud handle the zx350.4 and zxs1500.1 I already have. But now I'l get fat HO alt an 1 more DH Plat b4 I get the Q1-3500 or a beast of that nature. To the OP: I would not recommend running an amp on .5 ohm if this is your first build.. Especially if you're going to run that on stock electrical before upgrading electrical. You don't get double the power for running .5, you'll just get slightly more power, the amps efficiency will go down, and it will run hotter. Not really worth it imo, but thats just me.
Do it right, get the electrical sorted out first. Start with the alt, work your way back.
