Big Box + Big Power = ?

What vehicle? There are a lot of people on here that have done lots of testing with lots of vehicles that can get you close to the vehicles peak.
As far as what to do, 2 15s in that 9cft should be ok. Get d1s or d4s and run the aq2200 at 1ohm. With a 130amp alt and those 2 batts, shouldn't have electrical issues.
I have a 2002 Ford Explorer....my plan now is 2 d2 HDS315's on my current zxs1500. Up the amp to a 3500, thn up my subs to 2 d1 HDC's. After HO alt an 1 more DH Plat 65....

I agree with you but he's trying to fit 2 soundqubed 15's in 9.5 before displacements, if he is running more that rated he can get away with it. But there are still many variables that have to be considered not only that he has 9.5 cubes and wants 15's, of all sub's soundqubeds. Again one system might have an opinion completely different from someone else. Again op is better off with 12's that 15's for the net space he has. Again. That's MY opinion. Feel free to chime in with yours
I don't see how I don't have the space. Here's my calcs.... 45x32x15 =21600/1728=12.5x.25(for displacement)=3.125 so 12.5-3.125=9.375cuft net. SQue says 9cu is fine for 2 15's

I said I went and reread the thread. Did you call or did you go off of the chart on their website? The chart is a generic chart for woofer sizes, not exclusively for sq. Call and ask for the enclosure size. My enclosure went from night to day when I went from 8.5 to 10 with my hdc3's. The first time I went by the chart. Call and ask.

I did go off the chart....but I was sure thts was a general guide. U have pretty much wat I want in a setup. How do u like the comps?

They're ok, for what I use em for they are fine. Tweeters sound nice though, just lacks punchiness on the midbass, I plan on getting the pros and using a pair for midbass

I've always gone smaller with audioque/soundqubed and had great success. 9cft is plenty for 2 15s
Thts wats up, not the first Iv heard go smaller with SQues. I cud try a 45x30x15 box an that'll set me 10" from rear door.

two nightshade v3 12's in a big enough box will give you blood shaking bass.
There has been many who think more subs=more bass, but in the end they shove so many in that they dont have enough space and not enough power.

You can have 1 15 (15s hit lower notes then 12s and 18s hit lower then 15) in the right box and hit a 150-154 on the meter with a daily spl box.

To the op you just have to research the subs you buy.. If you go cheap then dont expect too much, but if you go for the known hitters then youll need the electrical and the power to power them.

Also the above statement has been tested personally by me with 2 dss etho 12s. Made ear popping and hard to breath bass (in a truck).
I'm in the 50s under 40hz and I don't think it's loud when most of the crew are 55 plus.

Not enough room for 15s. A single 18 will get nasty. Where are you getting 4000 watts from?
How is 9 cubes not enough space for 2 15's? i see people putting 18s in 4 cubes net? Hell im about to do a 2 15 box that the subs will 3.75 cubes(after displacements) per sub....

Are ur doors treated? Or wher are they mounted?

Same as me but im running a single db drive wdx 5k 12' in 3.2 cu net & tuned to 34hz running @2ohms.

Im pushed it with only 1500 watts and did a easy 149 on the meter sitting on the seat.

Not saying its loud, but it does the job compared to these multi speaker setups.
