Big Box + Big Power = ?

Bangin on a Budget
I have an idea of what I want but this being my first build, il ask an ask again. Anyway I have a 45x32x15 space I MUST fill with woofers, by my calculation I get a solid 9cu. Power wise I plan on 4000w, Q1-2200d @ .5ohm, sumthn like tht. For subs I was going to go with with 2 HDS3 15'S or 4 HDS2 10'S. Now Iv been told the 2 15's will get sloppy in tht much air space on that much power, are these facts? Also I think 3 HDS3 12's would be perfect but what are my wiring options? I don't see anything lower than 1.34ohm....

Not enough room for 15s. A single 18 will get nasty. Where are you getting 4000 watts from?
9cu is not enough for 2 15's? An I get 4000w from a Q1-2200d at .5ohm load. Am I wrong about this, that's why I'm here?

You will get around 2500 watts. Is 9 cubes gross space? You have to account for displacement of subs, wood, and port. That will leave you with around 6.5 cubes.

So I won't gain much at a lower ohm load? An the 9cu is net. 45x32x15 is the cabin space I want to use, I want a removable box....

You will be at 1ohm or higher most of the time. You don't double power dropping .5ohm. If you have already accounted for port area you can do two 15s. Knowing that car I don't see it happening.

I have an SUV I'm sure I can get 2 15's back there. If not what wud u suggest? I have 1500w at 2ohm now, but plan on 3500-4000w. I'l shop around for a proper amp....

You could easily do a wall with 2 12s in 3.5 cu each.

Anything like a hds or hd3 with 3.5 ported to 34-38 hz would really get low and loud.

But you would need atleast 2500-3000 watts to really push them.

Most if not all the time if you have more space it takes less power to push a sub hard.

My single 12 in a truck in a 3.2 cu after displacements is really hammering hard which is tuned to 34 since my resonance freq is around 45hz..

At the moment im only pushing 500-600 watts until i can get a bigger amp.

Well you can do the same without makeing a wall, but you will just have to make sure to leave atleast 6-8 inches of space from the port to the surface its facing..

I currently have a box on the seat also as i couldnt do a wall since i got a kid needing a seat haha..

Use the same specs 6-7 cuft for 2 12s tuned to a good freq..

Two 15s. Budget for subs, amp and do you already have a aftermarket 250 amp or up alternator? AGM under the hood and big 3?
My budget is more of a bill to me ~$400 a month, so I figure subs one month, box the next, alt, amp, upgrades etc. I'm getting 2 Diehard Platinum 65's, front and back, stock 130a alt. An will do a big "4" pos an neg runs from batt to alt, an each with its own frame ground....

Thts exactly what I got go'n, my cabin is 45x40. So 45x32 puts me 8" from rear door....it'l be a few months but I can't wait. Il keep every 1 posted.

Start with the electrical. Get the biggest alt you can fit and it will be less money in batteries and supply better power.
In getting the Diehard's for a deal from a local. Then getting my HU, Pio X4600BT. Who has the best alts for around $400? I know of mechman an singer....
