battery problems

Okay so I'm wondering if i need a new battery my car wont start without a boost off, but i look in the trunk and see that my 4 channel amp will not go off even with the switch for the remote wire off. Every one with a 00-05 bonneville knows the red power wire on the deck wire harness doesn't work so it has to bed straight wired to the battery. So i have my deck power and my remote wires going to my lighter. But my problem is i don't know why the amp is staying on with the switch off for system remote control. I took my 4 channel out gonna charge it one more time see if it cranks after two days.

so your amp wont turn off? that's why ya batts going flat. try another amp

a 00-05 Bonneville needs a GMOS-05 or GMOS-09 adapter to develop an ignition turn-on. the -05 is not for retaining factory amplifiers, the -09 is for retaining factory amplifiers.

you are draining your battery because your system is always on.

do it correctly and your problem will go away.
