Big 3 and wierd problems.

I just got my sky high car audio 0 gauge ofc, I had the big three on my car before with some old 0 gauge from my welding shop from the alternator to the battery positive. I had some cheap *** 8 strand 4 gauge from home depot for my grounds.

2 days ago I soldered my skyhigh car audio 0 gauge ring terminals to the shca 0 gauge ofc and heat shrinked them. I removed the cheap 4 gauge and the old welding wire. I have all my stock connections still attached. So today on my way home I noticed my car was steady at about between 13.4-13.8 my car always sits at 14 with my subs off. So I got out and checked all my connections the alternator connection was slightly loose. I tightened up and got back in and started it and it was back at 14 volts I revved it a few times and it would drop down to 13 everytime I revved it.

Before I did the new wire I never had any problems....

Any help would be awesome

I grinded my frame ground down to bare metal maybe I should try to clean up my engine ground? I grounded it to the same spot as factory but it's hard as **** to get to.

You can grind away. But over time it will become surface rust again. Every so often you could take a wire brush and clean the area up. Every & any ground should be clean as possible.
