Ive been using my schumacher for well over 4 years... Does the job everytime... I paid under $50 new..

As u can see it charges agm batts so tell XS to go rip someone else off.

Schumacher charger will work fine. I have one and it gets the job done, however I do like my xs charger better.

wow...I over paid for mine...I like the heavy duty feel though. I use mine for everything without problems. I would not use it for Gel Cells though, they are real finicky and require special needs. My kinetik and a couple of Yellow Tops have all worked fine with this model. The Optima is finicky too, about 10a max chg rate. Always remember with the AGM, you can use just about any automatic charger as long as the charger will detect the voltage and you don't charge too quickly....like trying to charge a yellowtop with a 15a charger could result in heat buildup and gas venting, which will ruin the battery because you cannot replenish the fluids lost.

No doubt I just set on trickle come back in an hour or soo and boom both batts sitting at 13.1.. Cant ask more from a $30 charger...
