It’s been twenty years since I played with subs and amps.
In an old classic car so everything is easy to get to.
Stereo is a basic JVC unit, amp is JVC sub is sound stream.I have the front speakers running directly from the head unit.
I want to run rear speakers and a sub via the amp. I have power to the amp (the light is on) but I can’t hear anything from the rear speakers or sub.
Appreciate any help

From the little that i know. It could be bad grounds or you have speakers and subs connected at the same time and some amps cant do that.

Mine was like that. I could be wrong

What is the model number of the amp, sub, and rear speakers
How do you have it wired in
If your getting power but no sound then it would indicate a signal issue
Either from the RCA's or the speaker wire
Or possibly have the amp overloaded
