u have 2 remember...a 6th order is just like a ported box it will unload when below tuning

sounds good to me...its a narrow bandwidth but if thats wat u want kool

but try 25hz to be on the safe side..

thats a NARROW band. my 6th order was tuned to 20 and 80. and i tell you what, it wanged!

all kind of music mostly rap and rock with deep bass

are you wanting a 6th order parallel or series bandpass? i don't know the pros or cons to either, but my series was very accurate, punchy, and would drop real low. it did really well w/ rock and rap.

pretty cool, so the box is tuned 28 and 50 and get a wider range response

how can you desing the box is there a software or something

or using the re desing box calcualtor by doing two difrent boxes and stick them together

imho i would do 4th order if u listen to rock..it would have a smoother less steep rolloff which is good 4 blending in ur mids and highs

I'm building a box for an expedition tomorrow that will be 6th order and the front will be 5.41 cubes and the back is going to be 8.24 what do you guys think i should tune to? I want punchy upper bass and a wangin low end lol

5.41 front 16.42 inches tuned to 45

8.21 back 39.4 inches tuned to 27

do those port lengths sound right? The ports are 5 inches wide and 22.5 inches tall
